About UsThe E-Hawk Band Program is located in Emmetsburg, Iowa. All students, grades 5-12, are allowed and encouraged to participate in the Instrumental Music Education program. Students grow and are challenged through all mediums of instrumental music literature. Each year, students participate in Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Solo/Ensemble, and Jazz Band. The bands are fortunate to have an outstanding amount of community support, and constantly seek ways to give back. This enhances students' understanding of how music can positively enrich a community.

The Bands |
There are four curricular bands in this school district. Beginning students in 5th grade have lessons in the fall until late-September, when they start rehearsing together every other day. Sixth grade band students rehearse every other day throughout the entire school year. Beginning in 7th grade, Jazz Band is available for student participation, as well as marching band performances in the Homecoming and Famous St. Patrick's Day parades. High School Band meets for daily rehearsals. In the fall they prepare popular charts for E-Hawk Football games, and then transition to Concert Band for the rest of the year, with pep band intermixed, and an extra-curricular Jazz Band available in the mornings.
